Chef and cookbook author Mark Miller literally wrote the book on Modern Southwestern cuisine, and while he sold his Coyote cafe to Geronimo owner-exec chef Eric DiStefano, you can still find several of Miller's signature dishes on the… Read Full Editorial
delicious by jjane2007 via Citysearch on 12/27/2009
the food is always outstanding and the staff is always top notch. I only go for special occassions as it's very expensive
Phenomenal cocktail list! by writeon1 via Citysearch on 7/28/2009
Make no mistake: this is no casual Santa Fe boite, despite the poorly attired tourists. The space is elegant, sophisticated and upscale. The servers and maitre'd are very professional and the menu is very expensive. Appetizers, which are…
Great for lunch by Susan W via Insider Pages on 10/27/2008
I've only been here for lunch, on the outdoor rooftop. It was great fun for a long, boozy lunch on vacation. They have a great selection of margaritas, and the food is outstanding. The indoor part of the restaurant looks much more…
Good place for drinks on the terrace by tamstrat via Citysearch on 8/6/2008
We opted to eat and have drinks at the rooftop cantina of the Coyote. The place was packed and very noisy. Service was rather mediocre as the young female server we had kept going over and flirting with some young man every 2 minutes. …
Rude staff, poor food quality - horrible experience by ultimateconsumer via Citysearch on 6/19/2008
Santa Fe was a great experience except for Coyote Cafe. Overpriced, poor quality and unaccomodating. Coyote Cafe should be avoided. There are far better experiences to be had in Santa Fe.
Go to Geronimo or The Compound by SantaFeJoe via Citysearch on 5/30/2008
I consider myself a foodie. I have eaten at many good restaurants; however, the Cayote Cafe is not one of them. The food was fair- heavy sauces, dishes that were appropriately uncomplicated, but not interesting either. The space is very…
Decent place for a snack and some drinks by vgebhart via Citysearch on 6/8/2007
We went to the cantina portion of the coyote. It's more casual and has an al fresco setting overlooking Water street. They have some slammin' margharitas and some of the best guacamole my girlfriend and I had ever tried. (IT'S NOT FREE,…
Great dining experience in the Land of Enchantment! by hungrytraveller via Menuism on 12/28/2006
Going for a family member's birthday dinner, the staff at Coyote Cafe was exceedingly pleasant and helpful....
Terrible! by chichi82 via Citysearch on 5/4/2006
I would never go to this place again, I was pretty annoyed that it was the last place I ate in in Santa Fe, because the rest of my experience in this town was fantastic. Overpriced generic mexican food, a staff that hurried me through my…
