Good for Kids by Amy W. via KidScore on 4/16/2013

Located in the MGM Grand, the Rainforest Caf is always a hit, no matter what city youre in. (And its always overpriced, but you expect that, right?...

Not really worth the price by ashley r via Insider Pages on 1/29/2013

But just like any Vegas restaurant, the prices are much higher than other Rainforest Cafes. It's a cool atmosphere with the mechanical animals, rainforest sounds, and storms. It's actually great for kids too. Food is good and drinks are…

My Review by via Gayot on 8/10/2012

This 20,000-square-foot smoke-free restaurant's food and drink are accompanied by its own brand of entertainment. The ambience is lush with banyan trees and cascading waterfalls, and aquariums dot the jungle-themed eatery. Breakfast dishes…

Too much junk and slow service by MichaelMaroon via Citysearch on 2/12/2011

there were about 12-14 people altogether in our party and we had to spend two hours, 1,5 out of it - waiting for food. And it is too much junk. Not very good quality. All I liked was the scene

This cartoon jungle is a child's wonderland, with waterfalls, swinging monkeys and a canopy of faux flora and fauna. by Contributor via Citysearch on 8/16/2008

In Short
While waiting for a table, hungry diners prowl the retail village, where cash-register ka-chings compete with chirping birds, roaring lions and chest-thumping gorillas. When the lights start to flicker, never…

fun atmosphere by glittergirl80 via Citysearch on 12/27/2007

This restaurnant is simlair to Red Robin in terms of noisiness, kids, and food options, but not as tasty. I've eaten here twice and the food is ok. It's not super flavorful and not well priced for what you get. However, the atmsophere is…

Great food, good variety. by lvxena via Citysearch on 12/24/2006

The food was great! We had a shrimp pasta dish, paella (OMG!), and bananas Foster. The service was good and friendly, maybe a bit rushed. The food was fresh and plentiful....the entrees were a bit too much for one person to eat and we…

novelty by muranodiva via Citysearch on 11/18/2006

This place is a novelty inside the MGM Grand. We ate there before seeing Ka. The service was good, and the environment stole the show. It's easy to watch the fish tanks, or the little animations that certain animals make throughout the…

Cute place by xx88393842093 via Citysearch on 5/24/2006

Despite the fact that we have a Rainforest at home, we decided to go here for dinner in Vegas. Overall a cute place with fun ambiance. We liked the thunderstorms every half hour or so. Service was slightly sketchy, though, and the food…

Nothing Special by cpaulsen515 via Citysearch on 11/28/2005

The restaurant certainly looked and sounded like a rainforest complete with lightning, thunder, and animal sounds. Unfortunately, the sounds were so loud that we could hardly carry on a conversation at our table. The noise was too…

Worth the wait by Aaron H via Insider Pages on 9/18/2005

If you visit Las Vegas I suggest you eat here. Their shrimp is the best I've had. Especially the coconut shrimp.. Make sure you leave room for the volcano.

RAINFOREST CAFE by JOANN D via Insider Pages on 9/13/2005

THE RAINFOREST CAFE IS LOCATED IN THE MGM. IT IS A GREAT PLACE FOR CHILDREN. THEY CAN ENJOY A GREAT MEAL FOR KIDS, CONSISTING OF DINOSAUR-SHAPED CHICKEN NUGGETS. THEY HAVE SIMULATED RAIN STORMS AND ELECTRONIC ANIMALS THEY CAN WATCH AND…

Look at the other reviews by Bart A via Insider Pages on 7/27/2005

Yes the key thing in other reviews is kids. And where you have kids and rainstorms, you have lots of noise. This place is extremely noisy. However, it is a unique atmosphere. Food is just marginal and nothing different.

If you like noise here it is. by W. A via Insider Pages on 7/27/2005

I took my family to the Rainforest, for dinner, and it was a mistake, so-so food, overpriced, and not very good, but who could tell with the noisse and racket. It was terrible.

rainforest cafe (bummer) by theresa r via Insider Pages on 7/27/2005

we went to the rainforest cafe for our anniversery dinner. after waiting in a long line we ended up getting the worst seat in the place. i was seated facing the line that waited to get in (within inches and they were staring at me also)…

Wonderful place to take the kids. by Tammy J via Insider Pages on 7/27/2005

I have taken many children here for a tour and lunch. I had worked at a day care center and set up a tour. The staff is very friendly and our tour guide was very knowledgeable about answering the childrens questions. We all enjoyed the…

The Rainforest Cafe, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino by Rita T via Insider Pages on 6/1/2005

The Rainforest Cafe, located inside the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, is a must-see if you have kids -- although it's cool enough for just adults. The ambiance is awesome, like you've just stepped into a rainforest: you're surrounded by…

FAR from great! by strade via Citysearch on 1/13/2003

The food here was pretty good, the BBQ chicken pizza really hit the spot. The atmosphere is a little overwhelming, but I suppose it achieved what they were going for. The service I received, however, was horrible. The waiter was…

Make a reservation! by mestaton via Citysearch on 12/19/2002

I had a party of 13 and decided to call ahead, when we go there I was glad I did because there was a long line waiting to get in. We we're seated immediately and they made extra room for my extra guest. The waiters were friendly and…
