Elevated Life

Hello I am Heather. A wife, mother, friend, teacher, soccer coach and depending on the day so much more. I start my day before the sun is up and end my day hoping to get more sleep then the night before. I have three beautiful amazing children. The older they get the more things they need from me. Mom I need a ride. Mom I need to go to the store. I was not surprised each time I stepped on the scale to see it had not moved. I skipped work outs to meet the needs of my children. I was tired! I was at point in life that I just could not keep up with all the demands life had on my time and energy. On this particular day I showed up to work and it must have been written on my face. My friend stopped me on my way to my class. She asked if I was ok and how she could help. We chatted for a few minutes. That evening there was a knock and my door and my phone was ringing. I didn t know what to answer first. I wasn t expecting anyone and no one calls anymore. I answered my phone. On the line was my friend Answer the door. I care too much about you to watch you barely survive. I am going to teach you how to THRIVE!
On day one I knew it was working when I got home from work and didn t want to take a nap. Day three I knew I was going to be ok when I walked into my kitchen and remembered where I had laid down the car key. Day 5 I came home from working and wanted to cook dinner and not just order pizza! I was enjoying life again. I was not rushing from one task to the other. I woke up with clear thoughts and planned out my day! Why hadn t I thought of that before now? What had changed? Oh that s right I was just surviving day to day running from event to event and now I am THRIVING!
