Lila always said that food had a way of bringing people together. When they opened Lila Cafe in 2018, David and his cousin Barbara Ann used not only their gramma's name as inspiration, but also her infectious positivity and love for connecting friends, family, and even strangers through flavorful Caribbean cuisine. With owners hailing from Trinidad and a head chef from Belize, the entire region is represented on their menu -- from island classics like Mango Shrimp and Braised Oxtails to American fusion like their Hennessy Wings.
