Placido Menezes, MD is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in fracture repair and joint replacement. He provides comprehensive treatment and surgical care for orthopedic disorders of the bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Dr. Menezes utilizes minimally invasive techniques and performs all surgical procedures at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital's state of the art operating room. Dr. Menezes earned his medical degree from Goa Medical College and completed his general surgery residency at New York Methodist Hospital. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.
