Though there are a few techniques to bypassing locked doors, my first choice would be picking the lock as its one technique that is 100% safe from any damage to the lock or even cosmetic damage to frame. My first priority is to not cause any damage to the hardware so that once the job is done you can continue using your door regularly. On rare occasions when a lock needs to be replaced, I can usually match it to the same key you were using before.
For most jobs such as lost keys, rekeys, lockouts, I can give a firm quote over the phone which would depend on the scope of the work and the distance of travel. If I need to be onsite to give a quote or estimate I will be happy to do so at no charge.
