John Ko, MD, Ph.D

John Ko, MD, PhD, FACS is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ko completed both his general surgery residency and fellowship in plastic surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He attended Boston University School of Medicine where he received both his MD and a PhD in Biophysics. Dr. Ko is the medical director of the Institute for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at NYPHV. He has extensive research experience and has a particular interest in advanced wound healing and regenerative medicine.
