High-Definition Metal Prints outshines any other printing medium in terms of quality and durability. Besides the clarity of an image on a Shiny Print, it is also waterproof, scratch-resistant, and will outlast any other print medium.
We use Dye Sublimation on high-quality ChromaLuxe aluminum panels. Dye sublimation is when an image is first printed on a special transfer paper using specially made dye sub inks. The print transfer is then placed on top of the aluminum panel where it is pressed with a heat press at 400 degrees. This allows the inks to turn into a gas and become absorbed into the polyester coating surface of the aluminum panel. The end result is a vivid print that almost has a 3D feel to it.
For prints 20x30" and smaller, we use a float mount. For prints larger than 30", we use frame mounts to ensure rigid support. All our mounts include mounting hardware on the back to make hanging your art as simple as possible.
Typically, we ship your order within 2 business days after your order is placed but can take up to 5 business days if we are especially busy or if your order is larger than normal or requires special instructions.
For first-time orders, we recommend our White Gloss finish, which is the most popular option. We also offer a White Matte option, perfect for areas where direct sunlight might interfere with viewing, and Silver options for a metallic effect.

We recommend using the AdobeRGB1998 or sRGB color profiles for the best print results. If your photo is not assigned a color profile, the results will likely not reflect what you will expect. Be sure to embed the color profile when saving.
Ideally, you would like to have 180 DPI or higher. Our minimum acceptable DPI is 100 DPI, any lower and you will be given a warning if you would like to proceed and accept full liability for the quality of your print. Larger prints can have a lower DPI as they are meant to be viewed from a distance of at least 3-6 feet away.

Soft proofing is a technique used to simulate how your image will look when printed, using your computer monitor. This process helps you anticipate the final outcome of your print and make necessary adjustments in your digital file.
Input profiles are used to interpret the color information in your digital files. Output profiles tell our printers how to reproduce these colors accurately. Our printer profiles are highly calibrated and we re-calibrate them several times a year to ensure consistency and quality in our prints.
Ordering a test print allows you to see how your digital file translates to a physical print. It gives you the opportunity to adjust aspects like brightness, contrast, or color balance in your image before ordering a larger print. This step can save time and money in the long run.
A calibrated monitor is crucial for accurate color representation and to ensure that your prints match what you see on screen. Most monitors aren't calibrated by default, resulting in high contrast, overly bright images that may not reflect the true colors of your photo. If you're serious about color accuracy, investing in a calibrated monitor is a great idea
While we strive to provide the highest quality prints, there can be variations in color due to factors like monitor calibration and print media. As such, we can't issue refunds based solely on color concerns. We recommend making use of soft proofing and ordering a test print to ensure color accuracy.
