Founder Stanley Mayper, started ZGEN Power back in 2011, after working in the wireless industry for 20 years. He lives in Long Island with his wife, and two son's.

After Hurricane Sandy personally impacted Stan and his family, he became a Generac authorized dealer to help give customers peace of mind in case another horrific event occurred. Stan realized then how important emergency back-up power truly was when over 90% of Long Island was out of power.

Having installed hundreds of Generac Generators, Stan, caught onto the growing trend of solar energy, home technology and how all three can connect to create a self sufficient home.
