In January of 2013, Charles Mullen decided to hang up his wrenches. At this time, he turned the business over to Cherie and Russell. While Cherie is at the store full time, her husband still maintains a full time job working as a mechanic, and runs a Boy Scout troop, but comes in the evenings to do service calls his wife can not get to or recondition appliances for resale. Eventually needing delivery men, they recruited there two sons Matthew and Russ Jr. to help with delivery and scrapping. Needing a store tender and cleaners, the couple recruited there two daughters Joanna and Alycia to help support our family business.

Good selection by Bob R via Insider Pages on 11/3/2005

I was pretty impressed with the selection Murphys had available to me. They also were very competitive with their pricing. In some cases they were cheaper than the big name stores.
