Great food bad service by CSMobileUser via Citysearch on 11/2/2009
What a shame. The food was great but each and every waitress in that place is a total trainwreck. Horrible experience with the whole staff
best seafood by beebop14 via Citysearch on 3/3/2008
I absolutely recommend this restaurant. It is small, cozy with a family atmosphere. I am very big on seafood and they have the freshest fish. If you visit Lobster House Joe's you must try the Joe's special.
Best Seafood! by lady40 via Citysearch on 12/7/2007
Lobster HOuse Joe's is the best seafood on the island. Their prices are extremely reasonable, their service is outstanding, and it is a very comfortable atmosphere.

Great value by edlite via Citysearch on 9/12/2006
Great seafood at reasonable prices. Good friendly service. Small dining room, you may have to wait for a table. No atmosphere.
Worst customer service ever!!! by sue37 via Citysearch on 7/7/2006
It's the worst restaurant I've ever been. The waitress is rude and impolite. The food is not fresh. Not recommend at all. Don't even go near that place. It's a truely shame to staten island.
Poor by Snigdha B. via Judy's Book on 12/10/2005
I went here with my friend and it was terrible. We ate a lobster, shrimp, and clam soup and although the cauldron was a nice touch, the food tasted terrible. Also, the men behind the counter handled the fish with bare hands which was…
No Better Fish on Staten Island by Lauren P. via Judy's Book on 8/15/2005
If you want fresh fish, go to Joe's. I don't know how a tiny dive in a Hylan Blvd. strip mall got a gourmet chef, but take advantage of it - because there's at least 15-20 specials a night on the blackboards, and there has to be less than…
