S. Fareed Hasan, M.S., M.D.

Dr. Hasan attended high school in Youngstown, Ohio before moving to Chicago for his undergraduate and medical school education. He did his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, one of the busiest and largest teaching hospital systems in the U.S. After completing his Ophthalmology residency, he completed his Glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Hasan performs laser and incisional surgeries that include trabeculectomies, glaucoma tube shunts, combined glaucoma/cataract surgeries, and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgeries. He also performs cataract surgeries in patients with and without glaucoma.
