The original founding members of Cory, Meredith, Witter and Smith, LPA began representing clients in Northwest Ohio in 1896. The current version of the firm was established in 1988 with the merger of two venerable Lima law firms Cory, Leonard, Witter and Cheney and Meredith, Tait and Basinger. Cory Meredith has been at its present location in downtown Lima, Ohio on the 6th Floor of the historic City Loan and Savings Building since 1928.
