The absolute worst company ever! by Vickie on 5/18/2024 The worst towing company out there.My young daughter and I ended up stranded all alone in an empty parking garage at 11:00pm with a dead battery. I called my insurance company to help me. They called One Call Away to come and give me a jump. When the tow truck showed up over an hour later, the driver got out and started yelling at me because my car was in a parking garage, and his truck just barely fit because of the low clearance. He also immediately started hooking up a battery charger to my battery as he yelled. I tried telling him that I informed the insurance company when I requested help that I was parked in a parking garage, and that I didn’t know what the clearance was. He yelled at me saying that his truck is worth $160,000 and started unhooking the cables from my battery. Apparently, what I said made him even more mad because he just packed up and left without helping me. I asked, “Are you just leaving us here?” He said, “Yep.” So I had to call my insurance company again, and they sent a different company to come and help me. The second guy showed up 15 minutes later, was friendly and jumped started my battery for me. I cannot recommend One Call Away to anyone.
