Urban Barnwood began in a small barn on our family farm, where we had just enough room for a few tools and the furniture being built. In the year 2000, we were able to work in a much bigger facility on the farm, where my boys would begin their journey as builders for the family business— learning about the quality, precision, and time that goes into making our furniture so special. As the business gained more traction, the demand for quality reclaimed barnwood furniture grew, thus causing us to expand and hire more employees. Throughout the years, we have held on to the importance of providing our customers with quality, custom furniture that they can cherish for generations.
