Matthew Davis, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon at University Hospitals with advanced fellowship training in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. His primary location is at University Hospitals St. John Health Campus in Westlake, Ohio. A prolific researcher and writer, Dr. Davis has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and abstracts related to his fields of expertise. He is an active member of the Association for Academic Surgery, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
