About Hood River Dental Hood River Dental was founded by Dr. Curtis Haynie in 2004. He spent time traveling around Oregon looking for the right practice and serendipitously ended up back in his hometown of Hood River and opened the doors of a brand new dental practice. He eventually purchased the dental practice next door, owned by Dr. Snyder, in 2007 and literally tore down walls to combine the two office. Dr. Haynie built the practice by getting involved in the local community that he and his family continue to invest in and call home, raising two wonderful children in the area and taking part in many of the outdoor activities the Gorge offers.
