Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor. by Contributor via Citysearch on 8/7/2008
In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and…

YUMMY by J. P via Insider Pages on 6/14/2005
I love the sirloin steak at Outback. I went not too long ago and I was extremely pleased with my entire meal. The service was top notch; very friendly and speedy. I can't wait to go back.

Ace the cheesy Aussie accent! by jpwhit1 via Citysearch on 1/3/2003
An overpriced version of Red Robin. The food is great but at a relatively high cost for the whole package. I'm not a cheapskate but not alot of value here. And please, get rid of the cheesy Austrailian catch phrases that no one uses down…
Great nothern mystery??!! by mikeb12 via Citysearch on 12/4/2002
I've dined in a half dozen Outbacks across the continent, and they all have great service, value, ambiance, etc. What's the great mystery? My taste buds tell me that as you travel further north the meat gets less tasty! Texas was best,…
Steaks to Die For! by lilsnapper47 via Citysearch on 9/23/2002
The Outback Steaks are one of the best I've eaten in the Portland area, prices are fair and friendly service. It's a very busy place as all good resturants are so we had a bit of a wait. But the food was worth it!!!

I would never…
