In Short
Once a roofing company, this corner lot has been transformed into a hip hangout with retractable garage-door walls that open to an expansive back garden. The decor also includes mid-century chairs and a table made from a… Read Full Editorial

My Review by sarahsloane via Citysearch on 5/9/2013

Always great for hipster-watching, Vendetta is a local watering hole for those that can't be bothered to talk to you, let alone get you a beer. Late night, though? I used to get the nachos a lot and that was good.

Terrible Bartenders by slowcheetah1 via Citysearch on 9/7/2009

Embarassingly enough the bartenders can't vet out of state licenses and will deny those showing non-OR. not remotely worth the trek to newly gentrified NE

worth the trek by gurrli5 via Citysearch on 3/24/2009

They have a great patio out back, shuffleboard and tasty sangria. They have no sign which helps keep it local, uncrowded and great place to meet friends.

Add me to the list by fleshpot via Citysearch on 12/2/2008

Yeah, I could see some kind of quaintness in staff-bitchiness if it wasn't the blandest bar in North Portland. By the way, is it a coincidence that this bar opened the same summer as that movie of the same name? I guess the owners just…

Great Drinks by pixie29 via Citysearch on 4/18/2008

Went here for the first time last wk, not an after-work crowd rather, lots of locals. (Everyone was there in their t-shirts and jeans or shorts at 5:30pm on a Friday, don't people work anymore???) Had 4 drinks and a lg plate of nachos…

Great if you have low self-esteem... by ammpdx via Citysearch on 2/27/2008

We live in the neighborhood and have tried it a few times. Went last night with three other neighbors, and I was none too happy to leave. Just the two of us spent $50 on food and drinks, and that's $40 more than we should have (you can't…

Love it love it by kimdthompson via Citysearch on 1/15/2008

Love the bar, love the patio, love Pesto Turkey sandwich. Great music, I want to steal the bar ipod.

Favorite Bar in N. PDX by gjames31 via Citysearch on 1/15/2008

I stumbled upon this N. Portland neighborhood bar a few months ago and it has become my favorite bar in the area. It's non smoking unlike the Florida Room or the Crow Bar and contrary to the other reviews on this site much less attitude…

Too cool for school by pyzel via Citysearch on 12/16/2007

This place would be an ok bar if it wasn't for the down right mean service. The ultra too cool for school hippsters at this place made me feel like I wasn't even worth their time or energy. Really felt as if I were back in high school…

Don't knock it till you try it...ummm 40x by gottahatebitchybartenders via Citysearch on 8/14/2007

Keep waiting for the owners to wise up...cause bleaching the NE is one thing, but bleaching it with bitches for bartenders is a whole notha story. I could not agree more with nardblast's post.

Great Bar by openminded1 via Citysearch on 4/7/2007

Vendetta is the perfect N. Portland bar. The space is clean, the patio is beautiful. The food is not only affordable but above average for the price points. The drinks are cheap and the music is good. Yes on a Friday night there can be…

The more attitude I give you, the more you should tip me. by nardblast via Citysearch on 4/6/2007

Yawn, I want to like this bar because its so close to my house, the drinks are good, the food and atmosphere is nice, but god damn it the service is snide, and snubby. If you like being treated like a dirty little step child, like you…

Best example of the evolution of the working class bar in N. Portland found to this date by secret4306 via Citysearch on 10/30/2006

This is a bar I frequent on a nearly nightly basis. I was surprised to find it listed on City Search since the buisness does not have a sign on the outside. It is a perfect mix of neighborhood and hipsters to the point that you never…

Perfect for Warm Summer Nights by kh33 via Citysearch on 10/13/2006

Welcoming atmosphere. Unpretentious. Large outdoor area. Open air bar created by large garage doors that open. Interesting mix of patrons. Excellent staff. Good food. Live bands, shuffleboard. Definitely a place to stop by on your…

Great place to sit outside by froggywise via Citysearch on 8/21/2006

Last night was my second visit to this little bar. I love the atmosphere, especially the extremely large back patio. The drinks are good and the food is perfectly solid (though in all honesty not really stellar). Definitely a perfect…
