In Short
A nautical motif best describes this upscale restaurant's interior. Large dining areas range from quiet to bustling, near the open kitchen. Service is fast and pleasant. A wide range of shellfish is available as an… Read Full Editorial

approximately two weeks prior to 12'17 I made dinner reservations for 12. At the time I requested that we have Brandon as our server and was told that would be no problem. Someone from Mitchells called on 12/16 to confirm our reservation…
Never had a bad experience by love4food via Citysearch on 5/28/2009
I think alot of the negatives you see here are people venting who had bad food or service, they are more apt to complain than if you were happy with your meal.\r
I have been there atleast a dozen times and always had a great meal. …

My boyfriend and I went to Mitchell's Fish Market at the Waterfront on Valentine's Day and both had scrumptious meals. I had my regular choice of the Cedar Plank Salmon and he had the trio. We topped it off with the berrie cobbler which…
Extremely Overrated!! by theoaklandkid via Citysearch on 12/27/2007
Waitresses have attitude, Food over done and dry -- for what you get in terms of quality, prices way out of line. Keep in mind, I've given this place 3 tries. When they found out i write Food reviews for a Pgh newspaper, they tried…
Great seafood, great customer service, atmosphere was great, prices fair. by wjf52 via Citysearch on 8/9/2006
My date and I went for early dinner and were very happy with our choices. I had broilled scallops and she had the rainbow trout incrusted with pecans. The vegtables were done just right. We thought the clam chouder was excellent.

Little fish....big bill by joshsgrrl via Citysearch on 8/16/2002
Do you want to spend 45$ on a 5oz piece of meat, a 2oz piece of lobster, and 3 green beans? Yeah, i thought not. Service is horrible. Food is tasty, but after 2 of us spending $100....we went for a pizza because we were still hungry. Awful.

The food was out of this world. Appetizers were outstanding as we tried 3 different ones. The Salmon quesadillas were to die for. Plenty of good food for the price. If you go home hungry or disappointed shame on you.
