Run down and dreary by Judy L via Insider Pages on 2/6/2010

Husband and I stayed here while visiting Wellsboro. The hotel is a historic building, but it could use a bit of sprucing up. The lobby was nice and we enjoyed fine meals in the hotel's restaurant. The rooms were dreary and old.

This building is a landmark in Wellsboro. Unfortunately it hasn't been kept up as well as it could have been. For more modern accomadations try the Penn Wells Lodge. Food is adequate.
