Roxie H Chisholm, FNP

Roxie H. Chisholm, APRN, FNP, specializes in treating chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia, in addition to other medical problems. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and received a master's degree in nursing from Walden University as an advanced practice registered nurse. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner.

Chisholm knows education is important for providing care to her patients, and she tries to be a positive social change agent in the world of health care by precepting and teaching students. Her background also includes teaching in the nursing field, with affiliations in neighboring educational institutions such as the University of South Carolina, South University and Columbia College.

Chisholm's life motto is, “If I only change one person’s life today in a positive way, then I have done my job.” She holds herself and her work ethic to her daily personal pledge: “I will be that positive change of health care in the world globally!”
