April Nicole Hobbs, MD

April Hobbs, MD, is a general pediatrician who joined the department of Pediatric Neurology at Prisma Health's Richland campus. Dr. Hobbs was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She received her bachelor’s degree with a major in in biology from The University of Georgia and a Master of Science degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. She returned to Augusta and completed her medical training at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Hobbs completed her pediatric residency training at Prisma Health in the Midlands/University South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia, where she served as chief resident.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, exploring new restaurants, and watching SEC football!
