James Lucas McFadden, MD

James L. McFadden, MD, received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa.

Dr. McFadden's specialties and clinical interests include hand, wrist and elbow surgery; upper extremity trauma; fracture care; nerve surgery; and shoulder surgery, including treatments for arthritis, rotator cuff tears, shoulder replacement and arthroscopic surgery. He is originally from Columbia and is excited to be back practicing in his hometown with Prisma Health Orthopedics.
