Sean Joseph Battle, MD

Sean Battle, MD, attended Clemson University where he received his bachelor's degree in genetics. After working in the private sector for several years, he received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina and he completed his internal medicine training at Prisma Health. In 2019, he joined Prisma Health and the University of South Carolina faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Battle teaches students and residents at all levels and is clinically active in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He has expertise in caring for all patients, including the LGBTQIA+ population. His interests include medical education, medical administration and healthcare access.
