Carrie Ann Twedt, MD

Carrie Twedt, MD, is originally from Nevada, IA, but grew up in Milton, WV. She completed her undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC before returning to West Virginia for medical school at Marshall University.

Dr. Twedt made her way to Greenville to complete her obstetrics and gynecology residency with Greenville Health System before joining Piedmont OB/GYN. Her special interests include high risk obstetrics, preconceptual counseling, robotic surgery, menopausal symptoms management, first gynecologic exams, vaginal surgery, advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.

She and her husband Joel have two children, Ashton and Ava. She enjoys biking, tennis, golf, boating and skiing.
