Ryan Schexnaildre, MD

Dr. Ryan Schexnaildre is a general internist currently accepting new primary care patients at MUSC East Cooper in Mt. Pleasant. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA and completed his undergraduate education at Louisiana State University with a degree in Biological Sciences. He then went on to earn his medical degree at LSU Health Shreveport before moving to Charleston for his internship and residency. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at MUSC in 2025 and was awarded General Internal Medicine Outpatient Resident of the Year. His clinical interests include preventative care and the management of chronic medical conditions including hypertension, diabetes, chronic kidney disease and obesity.
