Kayla Windham, FNP

After earning my undergraduate degree, I worked as a nurse for seven years. I worked locally at Roper St. Francis and the Medical University of South Carolina and saw much of the country through my work as a travel nurse. I went on to further my education, earned my doctorate in nursing practice and was board certified in 2022. \n Being active in my field is important to me. I'm a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and co-authored two academic publications - one on decreasing hospital-acquired pressure injuries and the other on depression in adolescents. \n As a proud Charleston native, I'm thrilled to get to work in my dream job in my dream location. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, traveling and spending time outdoors.
