History

Established in 2014.

Computational devices have become so pervasive that most of the time we don't even realize that we are using them. Computational devices keep our planes in the air and our cars on the road. They manage our electrical systems, our communication channels, and our finances. They controls everything from homes to pacemakers, and most importantly, computation has changed the way people think about the world.

Sravan Ankaraju, founder and CEO of Divergence Academy, is no stranger to these technological advances. Ankaraju set out to address the shortage of skill in working with this new technology, present within the DFW and nationwide workforce. The value that a data scientist can bring to a business is often unsurpassed, and we aim to instill our students with the practical skill necessary to meet this expectation. In today's world, "machines join the workforce, and an algorithm takes a seat on the board.
