In 1998 Scotty Knutson and Glenn Braudt opened Advanced Pavement Maintenance Ltd. which provided parking lot repairs and maintenance in the Amarillo area. Their business grew quickly and in 2001 they purchased a hot mixed asphalt plant and established Advantage Asphalt Products, Ltd.
