Maria Alfaro, DDS

Dr. Maria Alfaro earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2010 from University of Costa Rica, School of Dentistry. Her constant intrigue for professional growth and passion for complex dental rehabilitation made her pursue a degree in Prosthodontics along with a Master of Oral Health Sciences from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

Dr. Alfaro also completed a prosthodontics internship program at University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. During her time at UIC she became a research scholar at the Institute of Biomaterials, Tribocorrosion and Nanomedicine (IBTN).
