My favorite indian food in town! by Ashley W via Insider Pages on 11/1/2009

Taj Mahal is the best Indian food I've had in Dallas. My favorite dishes are vegetarian (although I'm not) including the Saag Paneer and Chana Masala. The buffet at lunch is pretty good but be prepared to leave very full!

never had a bad dish by Margaret S via Insider Pages on 8/26/2008

Frequent customer of the Taj both for lunch and dinner. Both are worth the trip. Best chicken tikka masala in DFW area, compared to other indian restaurants I have visited, Taj is less expensive or at least on par with them. They will…

Great food and nice atmosphere by DammitJanet via Citysearch on 9/1/2007

We took my daughter to Taj Mahal for her birthday, having never been before, and we were all very impressed! The service was great, and the food was really wonderful. The Chicken Tikka Masala was so good. Also try the Chicken Madras and of…

Go for the Buffet by gracie m via Insider Pages on 5/9/2007

I work in the area so this is a frequent lunch for most in my building. They are always packed over lunch and usually for the buffet more than the menu. I get a little worried when it comes to buffets because you don't know how long it…

Cute place by Hoang H via Insider Pages on 8/7/2006

I enjoy Indian food from time to time and try to make some at home whenever I can. I came by this place on a trip to the Indian market nearby and decided to try it out. People say that restaurants near markets are better than not if you…

Outstanding Sunday Dinner Buffet by prince_vampyre via Citysearch on 4/2/2006

Indian cuisine is one of my favorites and Taj Mahal showcases it well on its Sunday night buffet. The Chicken Tika will warm your heart and taste buds. The Sag Paneer was creamy, never letting any single ingredient overpower. Try the…

Yummy but hurts the wallet by Monica C. via Judy's Book on 3/28/2006

This is one of those strip-mall restaurants that looks crummy from the front but completely blows you away when you go inside. Its ornately decorated walls and table-tops make you forget you're just next to a large supermarket parking…

Average + indian restaurant by atupinamba via Citysearch on 3/15/2006

We went with a group of coleagues for dinner. The food was good, ok for the price. The restaurant is simple, and does not have enough air circulation, so the food smell in the restaurant is strong.

Good food by Nidhi B via Insider Pages on 2/15/2006

After a recommendation of one of my friends i went to try food at this place. No doubt the food is tasty and the place is packed.I felt the cost of the food to be a little more as compared to other places. You can try their buffet.

Nice Buffet! by S.W. C via Insider Pages on 11/23/2005

Went here for the first time for lunch. THe place was packed. That is usually a good sign and truly was. The buffet was fresh and varied. We ordered from the menu also and everything was sizzling hot. Very good food! I will return!

Great buffet. by perrystokes via Citysearch on 12/1/2002

I've been to Taj Mahal several times now for their lunch buffet and have never been disappointed. The traffic has always been high enough that you're certain the food on the buffet line is fresh. $10 for a buffet lunch (w/ drink & tip)…
