I could never forget the remarkable sushi that they have in here, everything is fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked or organized. Clearly I have to go back here.

Yama Sushi Japanese Restaurant by Anthony C. via Judy's Book on 6/23/2014
Located in the heart of Dallas, Yama Sushi offers Dallas diners the best of Japanese izakaya dining- an integral part of Japanese restaurant culture where people come together at casual "watering holes" to drink and enjoy unique small…

Great authentic place to take a date. Sushi is fresh. People friendly (for most part). Has a burnt firework smell when you first walk in the door that gives you a Japanese teleportation sensation. Try it out, you will not be sorry.

Authentic by Ashley V via Insider Pages on 8/24/2010
Most authentic Japanese food I've had. Food comes out slow, but at least we know it's made fresh? Like most other small restaurants, service is minimal. I still go out of my way to come wait and eat at this place just because I love the…

Wednesday Night is the Best!!! by SF S via Insider Pages on 3/4/2008
Sushiyama is definitely my favorite sushi spot. Besides fantastic sushi, they have an enormous menu filled with a variety of dishes. Wednesday night is half off Bento Box night, but get there early...it fills up fast! They open at 6pm.
Best I've had! by Jessica H via Insider Pages on 2/20/2008
If you're looking for a REAL sushi joint, this is it. It's located between to pubs and is VERY small. So, if you're planning to go with any kind of a normal size group of people, expect to wait a little while. Everything about this place…

The Real Deal by TreeHugger via Citysearch on 8/19/2007
Found Sushi Yama by chance while visiting Dallas. We had no idea what to expect from the nondescript exterior and off the beaten track entrance (you can hardly see the restaurant from Forest Lane). As we were getting out of our car,…
