JD's Tree Service is an Oak Cliff based company dedicated to responsible tree care and preservation with a special focus tree planting. Recycling trees is another division of our services. Like the late Nakashimi, we mill giant trees that have come down in wind storms. The wood slabs are dried and often returned to the homes where they have stood for many years as dining tables, coffee tables, counter tops, mantles, cutting boards and headboards and beds. The soul of the tree lives on.
