Nationwide Insurance: Christopher Lawrence Batten

Christopher Batten is a graduate of Sam Houston State University where he played on the Bearkat football team. He started his insurance career in 1994 as an Associate Agent for Nationwide in the Houston, Texas area where he wrote mainly personal insurance products. In 1998, he opened his own office as Principal Agent in Huntsville, Texas.

Over the years, Chris has grown a full service agency that writes all types of insurance products from personal lines, to large-scale commercial accounts, to farm & ranch owners out of many locations in multiple states.

His agency has been awarded the President's Conference Award 15 times, the Champion’s Award 17 times, and the Agribusiness Hall of Fame Award 12 times. His is also the #1 Farm and Ranch writing agency in Texas.
