Julio Quiroz-Olvera, MD

Julio Cesar Quiroz-Olvera, MD, attended the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, earning his medical degree in 2015. He went on to the DeTar Family Medicine Residency/ Texas A&M University School of Medicine, completing his internship and residency in 2022 and 2024, respectively.

After seeing his loved ones struggle with chronic conditions, Dr. Quiroz-Olvera pursued medicine to make a difference in the lives of others and has a particular interest in helping patients manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, and others. Dr. Quiroz-Olvera joined Kelsey-Seybold's Family Medicine department in August 2024.
