At National Public Adjusting we work for the public in appraising and negotiating an insurance claim. A Public Adjuster is the only adjuster specifically bonded and licensed by the State to represent you, the Insured. Public adjusters are regulated independent contractors who’s main responsibility is to protect you and your interests in claims against a loss with the Insurance Company.

Insured Losses, Assured Outcomes

If you have just suffered an insured loss such as a theft, flood, hail, fire, tornado or hurricane. You might not feel confident representing yourself and your interests before a billion dollar insurance company, especially since you signed a contract of adhesion with them. Although the insurance adjuster assigned to your claim was probably a nice person it’s legally not their obligation to find ALL of your damages. Remember Insurance Adjusters are representing the insurance companies interest, NOT YOURS. A PUBLIC ADJUSTER will represent YOUR interest.

All insurance policies are governed by the principle of indemnity. The principle of indemnity assumes that if you have suffered an insured loss you should be restored to pre-loss condition, no better or worse. It’s as simple as that. Typical insurance policies are written with numerous stipulations, provisions, conditions and endorsements that change from year to year. Filing and receiving payment on a claim is tedious and seemingly designed to be complex. It is very common for the Insurance company to misinterpret their own insurance policy or forget to apply case-law or State Statutes which supersede their own policy.
