Kevin O Hwang , MD

Kevin O. Hwang, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained internal medicine physician with advanced training in primary care medicine offering high-quality, evidence-based, and compassionate care for adults. He’s passionate about helping patients meet their goals with respect to high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, weight, heart disease, musculoskeletal ailments, mental health, and other chronic conditions. His priorities include helping individuals stay up to date with their screenings and providing counseling on leading a healthy lifestyle. Above all else, he takes the time to listen to his patients.
Hwang is also a professor of internal medicine with McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He’s grateful to work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and teach medical school residents and students. His academic pursuits include research, quality improvement, and optimization of electronic health records.
He serves as medical director of the UT Physicians Internal Medicine — Texas Medical Center clinic.
