Stella K Kim , MD

Stella K. Kim, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist with cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery expertise.
She’s also a professor and the Joe M. Green, Jr. Chair in Opthalmology in the Ruiz Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
Kim is the director of cornea and external disease at the Robert Cizik Eye Clinic — Texas Medical Center.
Kim graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1996 and completed her residency in ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in 2000. She completed a cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery fellowship at the University of Utah in 2001.
Before joining the Robert Cizik Eye Clinic, Kim served as the director of clinical research in ophthalmology for The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
