Be careful food is good but is it at the chance of being charged twice. Happened to me!
Always great food, always great service by shervinj via Citysearch on 7/27/2010
Thai Bistro has turned into our go to place for Thai food. The food is always so well prepared and the staff is very friendly.
They have an upstairs room/area if you ever need to have a really private dining occasion.

Thai food that's not overly spicy by canwetalk via Citysearch on 2/7/2010
I had Tom Kha soup and Pad Thai chicken. Both were served as requested -- not too spicy. The service was good; soothing. Although the menu is not expansive, there are certainly enough choices to meet most people's taste. The staff…
Very good Thai food, pleasant service. by cougaboutown via Citysearch on 10/1/2008
I often go here for lunch. They have a very good selection of Thai dishes. Personally, they have the best spring rolls I've ever had. The price is a bit more than most lunch places, but nothing out of sight. When the weather is…
Used to go here all the time... by josie1302 via Citysearch on 8/5/2008
I used to go here a lot and thought the food was great. The past couple of times, it's just been OK. Edible but not enjoyable, I think. After my last visit, I'll be taking a break or won't go back, b/c I think the food has gone…
Great Food, Dine In or Take Out by jphoelscher via Citysearch on 7/27/2008

Average thai food by zenithe via Citysearch on 8/9/2007
If you are looking for very average thai food, this place will be perfect for you. The salad served with the lunch specials are mediocre at best. Potstickers and spring rolls are pretty standard as well. I opted for the basil chicken and…
Wonderful Food and Service by kodaska via Citysearch on 7/6/2006
I try to go there at least once a month. The curries are superb, especially the pineapple curry! The servers are very attentive, and remember us every time. Great atmosphere, incredible food, and friendly service make this my favorite…
BEST place for lunch in greenway plaza area by texsk8r via Citysearch on 11/18/2005
I can't believe more people haven't discovered this place for lunch. The food is excellent, I've had everything on the menu at least once and never been disappointed. I highly recommend the salmon, it's cooked to perfection, moist and…

Thai Bistro has it all! Ambience, Service and most of all, the Food! The service is superb, very accomodating and eager to please, without being overly pushy. The food is outstanding! The soft spring rolls, pad thai, and blazing noodles…
Wonderful!! by carynjames via Citysearch on 1/26/2004
My husband and I order out from Mekong at least once a week. We just love the food and freindly service. The Chicken Pad Thai is the best in the city and the Chicken curry is just superb. We can't say enough about this place to our…
Great Service, Good Authentic Selections by palapakini via Citysearch on 9/23/2002
I love trying out new restaurants and this was one I wasn't too enthusiastic about trying because it wasn't located in "Bellaire/Chinatown". Usually those Vietnamese/Chinese restaurants located outside the Bellaire/China district are very…
Great Food Bad Service by mbir via Citysearch on 8/28/2002
The food is excellent, try the Mekong Specials like Blazing Noodles and Mekong Inferno (not nearly as spicy as they sound). The lunch prices are reasonable. The only problem? Service. I have dined her 4 times and each time the service…
