AWEducating LLC

AWEducating LLC, located in Katy, Texas, serves Houston's west, northwest, and southwest communities. Elementary and middle school students are coached in reading and essay writing (STAAR prep), high school students on Critical Reading and Writing (ACT/ISEE/PSAT/SAT/STAAR prep), as well as, college admission essays, graduate students on research assignments, and adults on technical writing. The AWEducating approach is a holistic version of Bloom's Taxonomy merged with Vygotsky's zone of proximal development. In this way, coaching and tutoring encompasses not only the cognitive and psycho-motor domains, but also the affective domain (appreciations, attitudes, interests and values) to facilitate internalization: authentic learning. Strategies used target AFFECT and VISUAL INTELLIGENCE with the aim to produce authentic learning experiences.
