Robert has been working with wood for over 40 years, starting with built-in furniture in his boyhood home. After retiring from IBM, he turned his passion into a successful business, with his work highlighted in outlets in Salado, Georgetown, and Austin. Robert began his business in the old MK&T railroad depot, in Belton, Texas. He then hand-built the Salado Sawmill in Salado, Texas where he operated his custom furniture business for 8 years. After moving to Austin, Robert now plies his skill in the Leander, TX under the name of XtraWorX,llc.
