Chisholm Trail Ballroom

The Chisholm Trail Ballroom is located in the oldest building on the Caldwell County Courthouse Square in Historic Lockhart, Texas — just 20 minutes south of Austin. This fully restored 1872 building features some of the best acoustics in the greater Austin and surrounding areas.

The multi-function space includes a professional sound system, stage, and powerpoint projector and 19 ft. electric screen. Furnished with custom made cedar tables and upholstered chairs, the Chisholm Trail Ballroom is both functional and beautiful.

The Chisholm Trail Ballroom includes a 1500 sq. ft. main space plus antique-furnished Parlor and well-provisioned beer and wine bar for a total usable space of 1800 sq. ft.

Regular events include live music, movies, art shows, dance lessons, happy hours, and open mic nights. The Chisholm Trail Ballroom is also available for private and business rental. The space is well suited for parties, anniversaries, birthdays, showers, corporate off-site meetings, etc.
