Bachar Samra, MD

Bachar Samra, MD, is a triple board-certified hematologist and oncologist. After completing his medical degree at Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, in 2012, he relocated to New York, where he completed both an internship and Internal Medicine residency at Northwell Health Staten Island University Hospital in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Dr. Samra also completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, in 2019. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in January 2025. Dr. Samra provides care in all aspects of benign and malignant blood disorders and cancer, with a particular interest in hematologic malignancies, lung cancer, and community oncology.
