I have always enjoyed photography but it wasn’t until the summer of 2012 that I finally bought my first DSLR camera. I hadn’t ever really considered it to possibly be any semblance to a career until a friend in Napa let me borrow theirs and it was something about that shutter click that was intoxicating. Maybe it has something to do with recording a frame of time, I don’t know. It’s a slice of reality that our eyes see and brain perceives filled with light and shadows, if you really want to get in deep about it. It’s a moment that will never exist again.
