Hussein Hussein, MD

Dr. Hussein A. Hussein is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in nephrology. With a compassionate approach, he is committed to providing the best possible care for patients with kidney diseases, whether they are newly diagnosed, undergoing dialysis, awaiting a transplant, or receiving post-transplant care.

He completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston in 2021. Prior to that, Dr. Hussein completed his internal medicine residency at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ, in 2019. His diverse medical background also includes a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston and a fellowship in acute burn and burn reconstructive surgery at UTMB-Galveston. He began his medical career as a general surgery resident in Amman, Jordan, in 2009.
