Mona Khalil, PhD

Mona Khalil is a licensed and registered dietitian nutritionist with more than 10 years of experience. She brings experience from working in hospital settings, leading patient education classes, critical care, oncology, and research.

She earned her PhD from Texas Woman’s University with her dissertation focusing on improving intake of fruits and vegetables among at risk children and youth. Her professional passions include educating children on the benefits of healthy eating and wellness, women’s health, and cancer prevention. Dr. Khalil believes in utilizing nutrition as a form of prevention as well as disease management.

In her spare time, Dr. Khalil volunteers her time teaching nutrition in schools, doing charity work and public speaking. She has also presented her research work at the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and The American Society for Nutrition.
