Unlike many painting services who provide high quality expensive paint and stick you with the cost when estimates are discussed, we let the customer supply their choice of paint as needed while we finish the job

WHY DO CUSTOMERS HAVE THE OPTION TO SUGGEST A FAIR REASONABLE PRICE?
When i started painting over twenty years ago i suggested customers name a price bcause they should know what a good job is worth to them
Some people can afford higher rates and some can not
Customers suppling the paint is an out of the pocket expense i greatly consider anytime i find myself painting on residential and commercial properties
I operate this service to make money on provided labor only and believe it or not enjoy this type of work

HOW MANY COATS OF PAINT IS REQUIRED?
On average two coats of paint leaves a nice appearance
Some colors bleed through so kiltz or primer may be the required first two coats
Anywhere outside you scrape like around windows may quite a few coats because bare wood soaks paint
Two coats of ceiling paint has always been standard procedure

WHAT METHOD DO USE WHEN PREPPING AREAS?
Minor surface preparation before painting, which means light sanding and scraping away loose paint, tapping in a few protruding nails, cleaning off the woodwork, using tackcloth in some areas
Masking areas that need to be protected
Spreading plastic over flooring and carpets
Removal of electrical plates and other obstacles

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS?
First phone call is scheduling a good time to meet in person
Secondly i let the customer describe what they need done during the walk through
Third procedure is agreeing on a price that works for both parties and answering any questions regarding the job
Lastly settling on a starting date and time

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE PAINTING IS FINISHED?
I do a final walk through inspection removing any masking tape and look for areas that need improvement
I have inspected my own work through the years while cleaning or painting because customer satisfaction is important and detail means a nice pleasing appearance in the end

HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
Call and leave a voice mail if your call is not answered
Suggest several potential meeting times and dates

Cash or check is required
Money order is also acceptable
Not accepting cards at this time

CAN THE CUSTOMER REQUEST A RECEIPT?
Every customer is provided a receipt upon payment

HOW LONG DOES A PAINTING JOB USUALLY TAKE?
I prefer quality over speed rushing jobs
If needed an estimated finishing date will be provided

HOW SOON CAN TRAFFIC RESUME WALKING ON HARDWOOD FLOORS?
This answer fringes on the quality of air in rooms
Average drying time is between 12 - 24 hours
