After reading a few questionable reviews we went anyways, desiring dinner with some entertainment. We could not have been more pleased. The filet and scallops melted in your mouth. The food was amazing and memorable. In addition, several…

Kabuto has the best Japanese food I've ever had, period. The sauces are amazing. I really like their shrimp tempora with a special sauce. The best part is the ginger sauce, which I pour over everything. I always get the filet with shrimp…

Our experience definitely earned 5 stars. The Chef was clearly experienced and knew what he was doing. All of our food was cooked perfectly. Out of all the times I've been to Japanese steakhouses this was my first time. You would think…

The happy hour is the best! The service is always very friendly, but know that it can get slow when it's crowded (there are usually only two people making the sushi orders behind the sushi bar). My favorite rolls there are the volcano roll…

The happy hour sushi and drinks are great for the buck! Both the bartenders and sushi chefs are a delight to chat with while enjoying one's meal at either bar. I especially recommend the ramen on Sundays.
Best Japanese food ever! by CSMobileUser2 via Citysearch on 5/11/2010
Well I have been going to Kabuto for over 15 years and it is the only Japanese resturaunt I will eat at. The prices are a little high but if you go for lunch it's not nearly as bad. Nice atmosphere and watching them cook is half the fun!
The absolute worst by CSMobileUser via Citysearch on 9/16/2009
I have had great japanese food but this by far is the absolute worst. If I could give a negative I would. Extremely too expensive for the small portion. The sauce is too soupy. You have to pay extra for the tiny portion of fried rice. The…
Not A Fan! by Kris R via Insider Pages on 1/6/2009
Kabuto's is one of my very least favorite Japanese restaurants! Who ever heard of charging extra for fried rice?? I mean isn't that what you get when you go for Hibachi?? The sauces seem runny to me, and the staff is just…
Love it! by Jessica R via Insider Pages on 1/4/2009
We've tried a couple of other Japanese steakhouses, but always go back to Kabuto. The food is always good and the service is excellent. On one visit, we felt very rushed (it was a Saturday evening), but we don't usually feel rushed through…
WAY too Over Priced! by mcsargewife via Citysearch on 10/5/2008
The restaurant was very nice - 14.00 for a kids meal - and 25.00 for an adult and you get the SAME portion .... Also you have to pay EXYRA for fried rice???? I guess are really costly - whatever. Chicken was fatty - white sauce runny - at…
Kabutos by Matt P via Insider Pages on 2/6/2008
This is a great traditional Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you and everything. It is highly entertaining and the food is delicious. They have really good steaks and flavorings. They even have pretty good food for the…
Standard Hibachi by xman via Menuism on 11/20/2006
If you've never had Hibachi, try it, you'll probably like it. If you have had Hibachi, you know what you're...
Kabuto is the best at what it does for 20 years by ddet via Citysearch on 4/1/2006
Why in the world anyone would go to a steakhouse for seafood has always escaped me. Much like going to Red Lobster for a ribeye. I have been going to Kabuto for lunch and dinner regularly for over 25 years and would NEVER consider…
Fun hibachi style dining by Stacy D via Insider Pages on 5/11/2005
While this is no different than any other Japanese steak house in any other town, it is still a fun experience. Notable for those that have kids is that the lobby features an interesting water feature which my daughter always enjoys.
