Mason Company of Virginia

Mason Company is a multi-generation company that began in the early 1980s and has evolved over more than four decades. Henry Lawrence Mason, Jr. began his career as a carpenter in the 1970s by building room additions and garages in his hometown of Louisville, KY. When his son, Bill, joined him in the early 1980s, they bid on government projects and private contracts, and together, they renovated properties and built churches and shopping centers.

After obtaining his broker's license in Real Estate, Bill combined his career in contracting with a career in real estate and opened his own office in the early 1990s called Mason Company Realtors. With Bill's help, Henry purchased property to develop a subdivision, and they built 100s of homes.

In 2003, when Henry reached retirement age, Bill made the decision to move his company and family to the Smith Mountain Lake area of Virginia. Bill has continued the tradition of providing excellent quality work at reasonable prices. Mason Company knows that no two projects are the same, and each project requires specific details only experience can provide. In 2017, Bill's son, Marc, joined the team and has brought new ideas in marketing and management. By hiring and maintaining a trained staff and crew, Mason Company of Virginia works to uphold its reputation and please their customers by completing projects in a timely and professional manner.
